Bugaboo National Park

Veterans and First Responders

this is a spiritual journey

hike and climb with a tribe in the mountains

Join WAC as we hike to the top of the Purcell Mountains and the glaciers in Bugaboo National Park. This stunning landscape and difficult challenge might be just what you’re looking for. Not for the faint hearted, this alpine adventure will rekindle the teamwork, connection, and belonging that makes the military and first responder community so strong.

peer-guided adventure

military and first responder only

"Nothing happens without some risk. You need some skin in the game. If it comes easy, it's not worth it. Teaching you how to deal with stress in a classroom is different than teaching you right before we summit a mountain peak. We take you away from the comforts of normal life, it's just you, the team, and the challenge. What better way to learn, focus on yourself, and grow"

— Adam

At Warrior Adventures Canada we believe in the healing and rejuvenating effects of wilderness and peer-support. There’s positive aspects of doing hard things together outdoors. Our team, and over 100+ participants, have adventured together to reap the benefits for the mind, body, and soul. These adventures can inspire, create friendships, recharge the mind, and test the body. Rituals are important in life, and our guides travel to these amazing destinations as a yearly ritual. We’ve found these adventures especially meaningful when done with veterans and first responders like you.

A big part of these adventures are the people. No one wants to travel with a stranger! Please describe yourself and be open about what is drawing you to this adventure? And what should we expect from you?
