“the eddy”

July 5th - 12th 2025

Dumoine River, Quebec

Veterans and First Responders

this is a spiritual journey

a whitewater journey with a tribe

Join Warrior Adventures Canada as we adventure down the remote DUMOINE RIVER. THIS is the quintessential WAC adventure; the one that started it all. Adrenaline, hark work, community, and true wilderness.

The name “The Eddy” comes from the river feature ‘eddy’, which we use to pause, reset, and adjust our direction and purpose. A perfect analogy for the trip itself and our lives. Take a week for your soul. Pause, reflect, and reorient your life and purpose.

peer-guided adventure

“Have you ever experienced a true adventure in your life? Have you pushed yourself to let go of the comforts of daily life? To return to a more natural state of living. “The Eddy” is more than a canoe trip, it’s a life changing event that happens once a year for those lucky enough to be a part of it. I am honoured to lead this adventure for the souls brave enough to sign up.”

— John, WAC Founder and “The Eddy” Trip Leader

At Warrior Adventures Canada we believe in the healing and rejuvenating effects of wilderness and peer-support. There’s positive aspects of doing hard things together outdoors. Our team, and over 100+ participants, have adventured together to reap the benefits for mind, body, and soul. These adventures can inspire, create friendships, recharge the mind, and test the body. Rituals are important in life, and our guides travel to these amazing destinations as a yearly ritual. We’ve found these adventures especially meaningful when done with veterans and first responders like you.
