this is a spiritual journey

hike with a tribe along the superior coast

Join WAC as we hike along the shores of the great Lake Superior. This 50km coastal trail is steeped in historical and spiritual significance. The Anishinaabe have inhabited these areas for thousands of years, a culture that deeply understands the connection between humans, nature, and the spirit world.

peer-guided adventure

military and first responder only

"There’s something special about the great Superior coastline. I stopped trying to figure out exactly what it is, it’s some kind of spiritual force, the kind that draws you in and humbles you. It delivers you the lessons and answers you need, but it’s up to you to be ready to hear them.

I’ve been an active firefighter for decades. There’s nothing that heals the wounds and scars from the job like Mother Nature can."

At Warrior Adventures Canada we believe in the healing and rejuvenating effects of wilderness and peer-support. There’s positive aspects of doing hard things together outdoors. Our team, and over 100+ participants, have adventured together to reap the benefits for the mind, body, and soul. These adventures can inspire, create friendships, recharge the mind, and test the body. Rituals are important in life, and our guides travel to these amazing destinations as a yearly ritual. We’ve found these adventures especially meaningful when done with veterans and first responders like you.
